Locky Gilbert reveals he and Irena Srbinovska ‘have talked about getting engaged’

They found love after meeting on this year’s season of The Bachelor.

And now Locky Gilbert has revealed that he and his winner Irena Srbinovska have been inseparable since going public with their romance.

‘We’ve been with each other every single. I don’t think we’ve spent one day away from each other,’ the 31-year-old gushed to Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday.

Locky continued: ‘I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and I’m pretty sure Irena is just as happy.’

‘I’m happy too,’ Irena was heard screaming in the background during the phone call, before Locky added: ‘So yeah, we couldn’t be happier.’ 

Locky went on to say he’s yet to get down on one knee and pop the question to Irena, despite rumours. 

‘There’s no engagement. There’s no pregnancy, it’s all just rumours, we’re just having a great time together at the moment,’ he said.

‘I mean we’ve definitely talked about getting engaged, and if it is gonna happen, I’ll probably do something crazy for it.’

With Christmas less than four weeks away, Locky revealed he has been spoiling Irena with personalised and sentimental gifts.

‘I want to do radical acts of kindness. I made up a little personalized calendar on Vistaprint with all our photos from the year, and I gave that to her as a gift,’ he said.

‘What other way can I surprise her then by jumping out of a helicopter and give it to her in person,’ he laughed off.

Irena and Locky have taken their relationship to the next level by moving to Perth together. 

Irena, who hails from Melbourne, shared the exciting news to Instagram on October 16, revealing she had arrived in Western Australia after her travel permit was approved.

‘After many attempts we’re finally in Perth. I had to apply for a G2G like everyone else and it wasn’t easy. I was rejected time and time again but it was finally approved,’ she wrote.

A G2G pass allowed individuals to apply for a travel exemption to enter Western Australia for an approved purpose.
