So it came as a surprise to Shane Richie when he discovered Mo Farah has a butler during Wednesday’s edition of the ITV programme – with the campmates taking their chance to pull a prank on the star.

The EastEnders actor, 56, gasped in shock as Vernon Kay joked: ‘When you become a Sir you get one of the Queen’s butlers.’ 

No way! It came as a surprise to Shane Richie when he found out that Mo Farah has a butler during Wednesday’s edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The campmates were waiting for their dinner when presenter Vernon, 46, made reference to the 37-year-old long-distance runner’s living situation. 

‘You’ve got staff?!’, a surprised Shane asked, before the host joked: ‘Of course he has, he’s a Sir. When you become a Sir you get one of the Queen’s butlers.’

The soap star was left unconvinced as he replied: ‘Shut up, you don’t’, to which a cheeky Vernon added: ‘Ask Alan Sugar’.

When the comedian pointed out that the Apprentice boss, 73, is now a Lord, Mo quipped: ‘Well he’s probably get two [butlers].’  

Vernon then smiled and called Shane gullible and everyone laughed and cheered.

Jessica Plummer and Russell Watson became the latest stars evicted from the programme in another double elimination.

The tenor, 54, received the lowest amount of votes from the public, while the EastEnders star, 28, placed seventh in the competition.

The remaining celebrities will continue to be evicted from the series’ new location each night until the finale on Friday.

When asked how they were feeling by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the former Neon Jungle singer said ‘mixed emotions’, while her co-star added: ‘Mixed emotions for me too as well.’

Prompted further by Dec, Russell said: ‘I’m emotional really, it just reminds me of what a good time we had in there. I got hit on the head and ate a few cockroaches- apart from that it was great.

‘It felt difficult going in late, it felt like everyone had established a relationship, but no I settled in well. Can’t wait for a shave’.
