I’m A Celeb campmates will be treated to pub grub, booze and Christmas karaokee

It’s the return of the Jungle Arms! I’m A Celeb campmates let their hair down with pub grub, booze and Christmas karaoke before facing ANOTHER double vote off

After two weeks of basic rations campmates will be given a slap-up meal and a boozy knees-up in the next installment of I’m A Celebrity… Get me Out Of Here!

The nine remaining contestants have the opportunity to let their hair down thanks to the return of show staple the Jungle Arms – renamed the Castle Inn in accordance with the show’s new UK setting.

With the pub doors well and truly open and its interior appropriately adorned with Christmas decorations, they will tuck into traditional pub grub in the form of pie and chips.

With another double vote off looming the group have one last chance to celebrate before the number is reduced to seven, and they do it in style by taking to the karaoke stand for questionable renditions of classic songs, among them Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You.

The party will come just hours after Beverley Callard and Victoria Derbyshire became the second and thirds celebrities to get their marching orders from the show.

Coronation Street star Beverley, 63, and journalist Victoria, 52, fought back tears as they held hands on their departure from the ITV programme, with the duo describing their stint as ‘absolutely amazing’.

The remaining eight celebrities will continue to be evicted from the programme’s new location of Gwrych Castle in North Wales each night until the finale on Friday, after Paralympic athlete Hollie Arnold and stage actress Ruthie Henshall were booted from the show last week.

During a joint interview with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, BBC star Victoria said: ‘It’s been absolutely amazing. Marrying Mark and having my two boys – this is up there.

‘I squeezed the life out of it. I would ask questions if I wasn’t a journalist! Legends like this… everyone has got a story to tell.

‘You think you’d get on with most people as we’re normal and relative nice. I thought there would always be one [who you wouldn’t get on with], but there wasn’t!’

Actress Beverley added: ‘We’re sad to go but we’re happy to go. I don’t know what got me through it, I still feel like I don’t have any survival skills.

You just do it and your mind goes into a different place. It’s completely up there with everything, it was truly unforgettable.’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues at 9:00pm on ITV1.
