He was left irritated on Sunday night’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! when Victoria Derbyshire was voted to do a solo trial instead of him.
But Russell Watson finally gets his wish on Monday night’s instalment.
The singer, 54, is seen in a preview clip from taking on the Rancid Rotisserie trial, in his attempts to collect meals for the camp.

Clearly regretting it, he is seen exclaiming ‘how did I get here?’ as he’s strapped onto a metal base and suspended over a vat of freezing cold congealed gunk.
Ant and Dec are seen instructing him to pick a category, which he has to do while being rotated on the platform and dunked into the slime.
‘Best of luck!’ Ant says as Russell is sent spinning into the liquid beneath him.

Russell is seen looking shell-shocked as he emerges from the slime, claiming that it’s cold.
‘Are there ice cubes in it?’ he asks, struggling to catch his breath as Ant and Dec giggle in the background.
He reveals he has selected the ‘literature’ category.
‘Do you want to stick or spin again?’ Dec asks him. ‘I want to stick!’ Russell insists.

Ant then reads out the question, which asks for the title of the first ever Harry Potter book.
Russell is given a selection of three titles from the JK Rowling franchise, including the correct answer The Philosopher’s Stone, but is clearly left confused as to what the answer is.
Whether or not he gets it right will be revealed on the show.
