She has just finished ‘binge watching’ The Crown on Netflix.
And to mark the occasion, Home and Away’s star Emily Symons has posted a throwback photo of herself shaking Queen Elizabeth’s hand 18 years ago.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the 51-year-old shared the ‘happy’ memory of when The Queen visited the set of British soap Emmerdale in 2002.

At the time, Emily was part of the cast of Emmerdale, playing Louise Appleton.
The Queen toured the fictional town, near Leeds, and was there to witness the filming of a storyline in which the local post office was blown up.
‘Just finished binge watching The Crown. I wonder if this bit will be in the next series?’ Emily joked in the caption of her Instagram post.

It comes after Emily shared a few other behind-the-scenes pictures – this time from the Palm Beach set of Home and Away.
The photos sparked a heated debate earlier this month as fans questioned whether Emily and her co-stars were following social distancing guidelines.
