SPOILER ALERT: Home and Away finale introduces viewers to Luke Arnold’s character – as a trailer hints original bad boy Heath Braxton will return to Summer Bay in 2021

Home and Away fans are usually left with a dramatic cliffhanger during season finales.

But things appear to be blissful in the fictional town of Summer Bay this year.

On Monday, Channel Seven treated viewers to a surprisingly serene finale, which introduced several new residents and potential romances.

SPOILER ALERT: Monday night’s Home and Away finale saw Sam Frost’s character Jasmine have a chance encounter with old flame, Lewis, played by Luke Arnold (pictured)

The much-anticipated finale saw Sam Frost’s character, Jasmine, have a chance encounter with an old flame, Lewis, played by Luke Arnold.

And it seems Jasmine hasn’t forgotten about her feelings towards her friend.

Colby (Tim Franklin) has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to Ross Nixon’s murder following Witness X’s betrayal.

An unlikely jail visit from Jasmine left viewers puzzled, however, as there had been no mention of a friendship or connection between them beforehand.

But it all came together when Jasmine explained that she’d promised Robbo, her late on-screen ex, that she would ‘take care’ of Colby behind bars.

During a preview of next year’s season, viewers were surprised to see original Summer Bay bad boy Heath Braxton, played by Dan Ewing.
