Ashley’s coat, which featured hues of pink, black and white, was worn over a simple black roll neck jumper, with the beauty also adding chunky white trainers to her look.

The Buttons hitmaker, who wore her blonde tresses loose, accessorised with dark sunglasses and carried her essentials in a cross-boy bag.

Ashley appeared in great spirits following her busy morning as she flashed a warm smile as she made her way down the street.

Last week, the TV star, who hasn’t seen her mum, Peggy, since last December, broke down in tears as she received a call from her.

An overwhelmed Ashley said: ‘I miss my mum so much, this is the longest I’ve ever gone without seeing her in person.

‘I absolutely miss her so much but she’s healthy and she’s okay, 2021 fingers crossed we’ll be able to see each other.’

Co-star Jamie Theakston, 49, said to her: ‘I thought Thanksgiving wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without Peggy.’

And TV star Ashley replied: ‘Without Peggy? What are you saying?’ before Jamie said: ‘Morning Peg.’

A delighted but crying Ashley then said: ‘Stop it! Oh my god! It’s so late for you, what are you doing up?’, before her parent replied: ‘Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving!’

Ashley then said: ‘I’m so emotional, I miss you so much! I’ve been talking to her about sweet potatoes for 24 hours getting all of her tips because she’s the one who makes the best sweet potatoes.’

Co-host Amanda, 49, said: ‘I love it. So Peggy we were just saying, this is the longest, I’ve started crying as well, I miss you too Peggy!

‘We’re trying to work out when the last time was Peggy that you saw your baby girl?’

Peggy, who brought dogs Chilli and Cooper on the call as well, replied: ‘The last time I saw her was there when I was in the studio when I was in London the second week of December.’

Ashley and Amanda were really getting into the Thanksgiving spirit at work as Ashley dressed in a Statue Of Liberty costume complete with headpiece and torch.

Amanda wore an Uncle Sam hat as they larked around, with Ashley jumping on the pouffe.

She posted the snap on Instagram on Thursday and wrote: ‘Tourists #happythanksgiving.’
