Conan O’Brien looks content as he heads out on a light grocery run with wife Liza

It was recently announced that he would be ending his iconic late-night show in 2021, after 28 years on the air.

And Conan O’Brien looked content as he embarked on a light grocery run with his wife Liza, 50, in Santa Barbara on Saturday.

Adhering to COVID-19 protocols, the comedian, 57, and his longtime love each donned face masks for their outing.

Due to the recent drop in temperatures, Conan layered a navy blue fleece zip-up over his charcoal grey tee.

He rocked a pair of medium wash denim jeans and some plain black lace-up sneakers.

Liza, whom Conan married in 2002, put on a comfortable, yet fashionable display in a pair of distressed straight-leg jeans.

She tucked her white t-shirt into the waistband of her jeans and threw on a trendy horizontal stripe cardigan.

To complete her errand run ensemble, she slipped her feet into a pair of white Converse One Star kicks. 

With her golden hair tucked behind her ears, Liza carried the couple’s small bag of groceries in one hand as they walked back to their parked vehicle. 

Conan and Liza have been married for 18-years and are parents to daughter Neve, 17, and son Beckett, 15.

O’Brien’s outing on Saturday comes days after he announced that his self-titled TBS show would end next year after he signed a deal with HBO Max for a new weekly variety program.

‘In 1993 Johnny Carson gave me the best advice of my career: “As soon as possible, get to a streaming platform.” I’m thrilled that I get to continue doing whatever the hell it is I do on HBO Max, and I look forward to a free subscription,’ O’Brien said in a statement.

A premiere date has not been set for the series. 

The announcement marks an end to an eleven-year run for O’Brien on the cable network where he had been since he cut ties with NBC in 2010.

The show will end after its tenth season airs in June 2021 and his travel specials, ‘Conan Without Borders,’ will continue to air on TBS going forward.

‘Full Frontal With Samantha Bee’ will now be the sole late-night show on TBS. That series was renewed for a fifth season last year.

Casey Bloys, Chief Content Officer of HBO and HBO Max welcomed O’Brien’s ‘unique brand of energetic, relatable, and at times, absurdist, comedy.’
