Thanksgiving day is just as good as any to have a workout in the Schwarzenegger family.

On Thursday, Patrick Schwarzenegger, 27, posted a video to his Instagram story getting in a few reps before the holiday dinner.

Arnold, 73, stood to the side and gave a few encouraging words to his son as he lifted heavy weights up to his chest.

The blunt caption for the story read; ‘PRE THANKSGIVING PUMP.’

Although the Daniel Isn’t Real actor originally set out to achieve eight reps, he decided to go the extra mile and do two more just for fun.

His determination impressed the former Mr. Universe title holder, who commented: ‘This man is a monster…This is freaking 400 pounds.’

Patrick was pictured wearing a dark grey athletic shirt with matching shoes, along with a set of sweat pants and a yellow trucker cap; his dad kept it simple in a blue T-shirt, black pants and matching sneakers.

The Midnight Sun actor is Arnold’s third child with 65-year-old Maria Shriver; the former couple also share daughters Katherine, 30, and Christina, 29, along with their youngest child Christopher, 23.

The two were married from 1986 until separating in 2011 and divorcing in 2017; the breakup was triggered by the revelation that the Terminator actor previously had an affair with a former household staff member.

From his extramarital union, Schwarzenegger has a 23-year-old son named Joseph, who is reportedly on good terms with his father.

Patrick has been following in his dad’s acting footsteps since he was young, receiving his first role in the 2006 sports comedy The Benchwarmers.
