But, AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has hit back at the Shane Richie, 56, feud on I’m A Celeb as she insisted that her beau, 26, is struggling to cope because he’s ‘OCD and hangry.’
The dancer admitted that AJ is ‘constantly cleaning’ their flat and has a tendency to get ‘hangry’ – a mix which has proven to be disruptive in camp.

Asked about her boyfriend’s fascination with having the pots and pans and facilities gleaming, Abbie insisted: ‘You know what it is, it’s that AJ has got OCD – he’s constantly cleaning the flat. If I do something he normally re-does it.’
Speaking on the latest episode of the ‘AJ vs Curtis’ podcast, The blonde beauty said: ‘He loves to take care of people and he would want the clean dishes for the camp, and for the camp to be perfect for everyone.’
Abbie revealed that although AJ is able to ‘keep his calm’ if a campmate ‘really annoys him’ there might be a different story, as she confessed: ‘He is not afraid to say what he thinks.’
During Wednesday night’s show, AJ joked he would rather have rice and beans and go to bed than wait for the camp’s pheasant dinner to cook, and Abbie admitted her pro dancer beau does have a tendency to get ‘hangry.’

She said: ‘I think AJ is going to be struggling, he eats so much. I think he’s going to be so hangry in there – I don’t even like to be around him when he’s hangry. And they’ve got to put up with him 24/7.’
The blonde beauty also confessed the level of online trolling she’s received has increased while AJ has been in the castle, and admitted that she’s found it hard to deal with.
She told the Mirror: ‘Because he is in the public eye and with everyone watching I’m a Celebrity, there is definitely more abuse.
‘Everyone loves AJ and wants him to be THEIR boyfriend. I find it so hard reading the comments I get on social media.

Abbie’s comments come after Shane Richie‘s son Shane Nolan, 28, accused I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! bosses of ‘editing the show to cause tension’ amid his father’s feud with AJ.
The actor’s son was left fuming after a tense scene aired between the pair on Thursday.
In the clip, Shane asked who was doing the washing up before jokingly throwing his tin on the floor and later transferring it to a bucket for cleaning- much to AJ’s chagrin.

Another fan accused Shane of ‘bullying AJ’ writing: ‘When he threw his dishes and then walked by AJ putting his hand on AJ’s shoulder and pressing down on it. Let’s get this Shane a**e out of there 1st to be voted out.’
Shane quickly responded, writing: ‘Bullying, wtf is wrong with people?’

Shane Nolan, who previously branded AJ a ‘little b***h’ over his row with Shane, had tweeted earlier in the evening: ‘Oooooh Aj does not like my old man. Absolutely hilarious.’
He also urged fans to vote for his father, writing: ‘Guys you can vote for your favourite now.
‘Would really appreciate it if you voted for@realshanerichie. I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea but can’t say he hasn’t given us stuff to talk about. #alwaysbealegendinmyeyes #imacelebrity.’

He also said the Strictly dancer should ‘shut up’ after he argued with his father in the camp over dirty pans.

AJ and Shane had a tiff on Monday’s show after the camp chores were assigned on Sunday night.

Yet on Tuesday’s episode, then camp leader Jordan asked AJ to do the washing up as Shane was doing a trial and Ruthie was feeling homesick.
After scrubbing the pots and pans, the dancer commented on how much cleaner they were looking thanks to his own handiwork.
To which Beverley asked: ‘So Shane’s done a very bad job?’ with the other campmates looking around.

Commenting on Shane’s ‘dirty’ pans in the Telegraph later on in the episode, AJ said: ‘Oh my God, no wonder our rice has some weird flavour to it.
‘I’ve cleaned the whole thing (pots and pans), they look brand new. You could sell them right now.’
He added: ‘I think they could put a bit more blood sweat and tears into washing up, it’s a bit dirty.’

AJ and Jessica Plummer are now on washing up duties in the camp and speaking in the Telegraph on Thursday’s episode, AJ said: ‘If you do a job too well you get given a job, don’t you? I’m happy with my role. Yeah, I don’t know why I’m talking high pitched, but I’m happy.’
