RHOC’s Shannon Beador ‘will do anything for a pay cheque’ says former co-star

‘She’s a lunatic’: Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Peggy Sulahian says Shannon Beador is ‘calculated’ and ‘will do anything to stay on RHOC for a pay cheque’

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Peggy Sulahian has slammed Shannon Beador in a new interview.

Speaking on the Poplitically Incorrect podcast, Peggy branded Shannon a ‘calculated lunatic’ and said she would do anything to stay on the reality show.

‘She’s a lunatic. Shannon is a lunatic. She honestly needs help,’ the 47-year-old said.

‘She needs to be on meds, especially to calm her down. She needs Ativan or something, with her hand gestures. God damn, you’re 60 years old. Calm down, lady,’ she added.

The former Housewife, who starred on season 12 of the series in 2017, also said that Shannon would do anything to keep her spot on the show because she needs the ‘pay cheque’.

‘I think she is calculated. She needs a pay cheque, she’s divorced. She needs to stay on, she’s been on for a while, she knows the game, she plays it right,’ Peggy said.

‘I don’t think she’s authentic. I don’t think she’s real,’ she added.

Shannon divorced her husband, wealthy Newport businessman David Beador, last year.

She is now dating John Janssen, who has been featured on the current 15th season of the show.

Peggy also defended cast member Braunwyn Windham-Burke, who has fallen out with the rest of the women this season after coming out as an alcoholic.

Braunwyn has notably clashed with both Gina Kirschenheiter and Shannon this season, after she told Gina that Shannon had called her condo ‘sad and depressing’ behind her back.

‘I would be on Braunwyn’s side because I’m more sincere. And that’s like a deep situation, if you’re an alcoholic,’ Peggy said on Poplitically Incorrect

‘The girls are just insincere and why would you do that? Why would you do such a thing like that? Be understandable. She said she’s an alcoholic, isn’t that good enough?’ she continued.

‘And she’s crying for help. I would be the one to hug her and to be next to her and to understand her situation.’

Peggy exited the Real Housewives of Orange County after the twelfth season, along with Meghan King Edmonds and Lydia McLaughlin.

Season 15 is currently airing now on Bravo in the U.S. and Hayu and Foxtel in Australia.
