Model Elyse Knowles shows off her growing baby bump in a bikini during a beach outing in Byron Bay

Elyse Knowles flaunted her pregnancy belly during a beach outing with a friend in Byron Bay on Saturday.

The 28-year-old model put her baby bump on show after recently announcing she’s expecting her first child with her boyfriend of seven years, Josh Barker.

Elyse looked chic in a grey and white pinstripe bikini top, which she teamed with a pair of tan coloured shorts.

She covered up with a light blue chambray shirt, which she wore unbuttoned on top of her bikini.

The former Block star wore a pair of brown Birkenstock sandals, and carried a straw basket with her belongings.

Protecting her face from the sun, Elyse wore a white and tan wide brim fedora hat and tortoiseshell sunglasses.

She accessorised with a chain necklace and small hoop earrings as she walked alongside a girlfriend.

The two young women chatted as they walked, with Elyse’s lookalike friend smiling at something she said.

Elyse announced her pregnancy on Instagram back in September, sharing a series of loved-up photos of herself and Josh, 31, in front of Uluru with a love heart drawn onto her bare stomach.

‘And then there were 3 #babybarker,’ she captioned the sweet post.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph earlier this month, Elyse said she was embracing her pregnancy body.  

‘As I go through this new journey, I’m feeling very content in my body, which is nice,’ she said, adding, ‘I listen to what my body needs.’
