‘May queen!’ Lisa Armstrong shares adorable childhood throwback snap aged 8 from May Day celebrations
Lisa Armstrong looked adorable in a cherubic throwback snap aged eight which the star posted to Instagram on Thursday.
The make-up artist, 42, shared the cute photo from May Day celebrations in the 1980s – which saw her wear a white bridesmaids dress and wear a floral crown.
Unlike her trademark platinum crop of present times, a young Lisa sported dark curly locks as she smiled for the camera while clutching a bouquet of flowers.

Lisa captioned the snap: ‘TBT Haha sorting through my old boxes… 8 year old May Queen!!!

The star’s adorable snap was praised by fans who branded her ‘cute’ ‘sweet’ and ‘lovely’ in the family picture.
It comes after Lisa remembered her father with an emotional tribute, following his death from cancer last year.

The makeup artist took to Instagram last Tuesday to share a special keepsake candle in honour of dad Derek, who passed away in May 2019.
The heartwarming memento was adorned with childhood pictures of Lisa with her beloved dad, as well as a touching dedication to him, with Lisa writing in the caption: ‘Miss him so much.’
Lisa uploaded a trio of snaps showing different sides of the candle, with one throwback snap showing a young Lisa cuddled up to Derek.
While another showed Derek years later as he smiled for the camera.
A third side of the candle showed an emotional written dedication to Derek, which read: ‘Those we love, don’t go away, they walk beside us everyday.

Captioning the post, Lisa penned: ‘Thank-you @designitdave that was so sweet of you to think of me and send me this wonderful gift… I love it!!!’
She added the hashtags: ‘#mydadda #daddiesgirl #misshimsomuch’.
It was reported in May last year that Lisa’s father had passed away aged 71 following a battle with cancer, amidst her divorce battle with ex-husband Ant McPartlin.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist was reportedly at Derek’s bedside at her family home, in Oxford with her mum Linda, according to The Sun.
Lisa and Ant have since settled their divorce and she is believed to have received a £31million settlement, as well as joint custody of their Labrador Hurley.
