Lily Allen cooks up a Thanksgiving feast for husband David Harbour as she proudly shows off her pecan pie and marshmallow sweet potato dish

She celebrated her daughter Ethel’s ninth birthday earlier this week. 

And Lily Allen pulled out all the stops for Thanksgiving on Thursday with the star sharing a snap of her decadent spread in honour of her American husband David Harbour, 45. 

The singer, 35, baked pecan pie and marshmallows with sweet potatoes as they celebrated America’s national holiday in London during lockdown.

Lily hung up American flags and told her followers the turkey was in the oven. 

Sharing a snap of the preparations, the Smile hitmaker wrote: ‘Yes those are American flags, yes that’s a pecan pie, yes that’s marshmollows on the potatoes and yes I have turkey in the oven #american wife #thanksgivingLDN.’ 

It comes after Lily claimed she went ‘a bit ham’ for her daughter Ethel’s birthday festivities as she showed off the decorations she put up to mark her little one’s big day via Instagram on Wednesday.

Covering her living room in stunning decor, Lily had put up floor-to-ceiling fairy lights and colourful balloons all over the walls, while disco lights bathed the ceiling in a dark blue glow.  

Lily recently reunited with her husband David after spending only three days out of their two-month marriage together due to their busy careers. 

Last month, Lily revealed she hadn’t seen the screen star in 45 of the 48 days since they got married. During an Instagram Live with New Zealand singer Benee, 20, the author spoke about their long distance relationship.

The daughter of actor Keith Allen, who tied the knot to the actor in a Las Vegas ceremony, appeared in great spirits for the Q&A, which was accidentally photobombed by her partner who sat by a desk in their home. 

Detailing the reality of juggling their two-month marriage with their busy schedules, the media personality said: ‘I got married 48 days ago. I hadn’t seen my husband for 45 days after I got married’. 

Lily and David’s surprise nuptials was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in September. 

According to TMZ, the duo registered to marry in Sin City with a license valid for 12 months.  Public records obtained by the website state the expiration date for the license is September 6 2021 – meaning they were to wed within the year.
