Lily Allen and husband David Harbour celebrated her daughter Ethel’s ninth birthday with a party at home, while they remained in lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis.
The singer, 35, claimed she went ‘a bit ham’ for the festivities as she showed off the decorations she put up to mark her little one’s big day via Instagram on Wednesday.
Covering her living room in stunning decor, Lily had put up floor-to-ceiling fairy lights and colourful balloons all over the walls, while disco lights bathed the ceiling in a dark blue glow.

Lily clearly went all out, as floral paper lanterns, crescent-shaped ribbons and an array of different balloons were set up around the living room.
She also prepared a cute pink tent that was designed to look like a princess’ castle and was decorated with colourful bunting, and stocked with presents.
But that wasn’t all, as Lily also had a table full of finger food for Ethel and her younger sister Marnie to enjoy, as fairy cakes decorated with cacti icing were placed on the table alongside sandwiches and cheese and other goodies.
Lily told her followers: ‘Went a bit ham on the decorations, cause 9 yr old lockdown birthdays deserve the extra mile (sic)’

David could be seen sat on a sofa happily watching as Ethel and Marnie played together during the party.
Lily recently reunited with her husband David after spending only three days out of their two-month marriage together due to their busy careers.
Last month, Lily revealed she hadn’t seen the screen star in 45 of the 48 days since they got married. During an Instagram Live with New Zealand singer Benee, 20, the author spoke about their long distance relationship.

The daughter of actor Keith Allen, who tied the knot to the actor in a Las Vegas ceremony, appeared in great spirits for the Q&A, which was accidentally photobombed by her partner who sat by a desk in their home.
Detailing the reality of juggling their two-month marriage with their busy schedules, the media personality said: ‘I got married 48 days ago. I hadn’t seen my husband for 45 days after I got married’.
Lily and David’s surprise nuptials was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in September.
According to TMZ, the duo registered to marry in Sin City with a license valid for 12 months. Public records obtained by the website state the expiration date for the license is September 6 2021 – meaning they were to wed within the year.
