Former Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo has revealed the heartbreaking news his is battling brain cancer again. 

The 32-year-old made the shocking admission in a gut-wrenching social media post on his Instagram on Tuesday night. 

Johnny revealed he had suffered through a week of ‘seizures and excruciating headaches’ before being given the sad news.

‘After an unexpected week of seizures and excruciating headaches it is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know I now have another huge battle ahead of me as my brain cancer has returned,’ Johnny wrote. 

He continued defiantly: ‘though i will dig deep and beat this shit disease again.’

Johnny was almost immediately inundated with support from friends, fans and former Home and Away co-stars. 

Lincoln Lewis, who starred on the show from 2007–10, offered his heartfelt support. 

‘We’re all here with you and cheering you on!!! Sending all our love, support and good energy brother!! You got this,’ he wrote. 

Actress Georgie Parker also offered her love and support: ‘Oh, Johnny!!! Sending nothing but love. Best of luck!!’ 

While Channel Ten star Scott Tweedie wrote: ‘Grab it by the balls mate! Throwing truckloads of support your way.’
