Cara Santana moves out of her Beverly Hills home and documents the entire process on Instagram

During her hectic moving day, she took time to pause and reflect on the ‘end of an era’.

And Cara Santana was seen outside of her Beverly Hills home on the border of Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, California on Friday, moving several of her valises and personal items into her white Mercedes Benz SUV.

Cara, 36, was vacating the home she once shared with her ex Jesse Metcalfe, after the pair sold it for almost $3.7 million earlier this month. 

The Beverly Hills Chihuahua star wore a large pale green hoodie that said in white, ‘See you in ‘21!’ 

She paired this with a wide-brimmed white hat and a black face mask. 

On the bottom, Santana wore large taupe-colored capri pants.

And on her feet, she sported white socks and sneakers.  

Cara was aided by an assistant during her move day, as well as a moving service and truck.

And on her Instagram, the actress was wistful and exhaustive in documenting her big move day. 

On her feed, she posted a lovely far away selfie in which she stood in the empty foyer of her former home, with a fireplace seen along one wall.

‘The thing about memories are.. you always have the ones you’ve made and you always have more of them to make,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘Goodbye to the past, hello to future.’

Meanwhile, on her Stories, Cara walked her followers through virtually every step of her moving process, from why she didn’t hire professional packers (because of COVID-19) to what she was planning to do with her old dog beds (donate them).

She started things off with a selfie video and the caption ‘Move out day’ in which she said, ‘Well, the day is officially here, we are moving out of the home that Sheppy and I have shared for the last five years!’

Here, she showed her little dog behind her sitting on the empty floor.

‘I’m so excited, and ready for a new beginning! So we’re moving out, and moving on. Wish me luck!’ 

Later, Santana did one last walk-through of the space, in which she said ‘Bye house’. 

The caption read, ‘But we did it… end of an era. Can’t wait to see what’s to come…’

And later still, Cara showed her 791k followers where she ended up, at least for now – at the home of her best friend Olivia Culpo.

Santana included a snippet in which she showed Olivia’s beautiful open concept kitchen, with a sign on the counter that read, ‘Welcome Cara – New Roomie’. 

‘Oh that’s so sweet,’ she said in the snippet, which she captioned ‘Home for the next few weeks!!!’

Cara and Jesse purchased the 3,500 sq ft property on N. Wetherly Drive in 2015 for just under $3million, but by the time of their separation earlier this year, Jesse was said to be living in the guest house.

Both stars have seemed to move on romantically, as well – Metcalfe is rumored to be dating model Corin Jamie-Lee Clark and Santana has coupled up with Jared Leto’s older brother Shannon.
