Bridie Carter and Myles Pollard announce new project together – over a decade after their characters Tess and Nick left fans swooning on McLeod’s Daughters
Over 16 years after they last appeared on McLeod’s Daughters, Bridie Carter and Myles Pollard are back together.
The actors, who played Tess McLeod and Nick Ryan on the soap, have started a production company together called Homeland Entertainment.
Bridie, 49, and Myles, 48, told the Daily Telegraph on Friday that their first project will be the film A Walk In The Park.

The pair are well aware how beloved their characters were, with Bridie telling the paper that the gave the romance their all.
‘That of course was one of the greatest and longest love stories, one of the biggest weddings ever in Australian television history,’ Bridie said.
‘It was a really profound working relationship. I suppose Myles and I always had the same work ethic.

‘We were NIDA trained so we had incredible discipline – every scene we came to, we always wanted it to be the best it could be,’ she said.

McLeod’s Daughters, which followed the lives of five women running a cattle station in the outback, aired for eight seasons on Channel Nine between 2001 and 2009.
The series was a ratings success and won eight of 42 Logie nominations in its eight-year run.
In July 2017, a Channel Nine spokesman revealed that the network was considering a remake.
