Dianne Buswell looks unrecognisable without red hair in throwback video

She was recently eliminated from this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside her celebrity partner Max George last Sunday.

And Dianne Buswell shared a throwback video on Instagram where she looked almost unrecognisable without her signature vibrant red hair.

In the short clip, the professional dancer, 31, sported lengthy brown locks with a sweeping side fringe as she enjoyed an outing with her friends in New York.

Who? Dianne Buswell has shared a throwback video on Instagram where she looks almost unrecognisable without her signature vibrant red hair

But the Strictly star’s brunette locks and bronzed tan left fans doing a double-take as she looked completely different without her well-recognised fiery rouge mane.

She has previously dyed her hair blonde and orange, but has become known for her trademark bright red tresses since joining the BBC dance competition in 2017.

Taking to her Instagram stories, she penned in all caps: ‘Omg my crew this came up on my time line, the good old days!!!

‘I miss you all so much.’ (sic)

Dianne and The Wanted star Max, 32, were eliminated from this year’s series of Strictly on Sunday night after dancing the American Smooth to It Had to Be You.

The duo sadly landed in the bottom two alongside Maisie Smith and her professional dancing partner Gorka Marquez.

But both Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke voted to keep the EastEnders star, 19, in the competition – while head judge Shirley voted for Max.

And in a further blow, absent judge Motsi Mabuse, who was replaced by ballroom dancer Anton as she isolated after a trip to Germany, revealed that if she had been in the judging seat, she would have saved Max.

Earlier this week, Dianne has bravely hit out at a cruel troll who called her skin ‘disgusting’ and said she had ‘rat like features’.

She took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to share a DM she had received as she tried to raise awareness for Anti-Bullying Week.

The TV star told her followers she could luckily ‘brush off’ the nasty comments, but added that ‘you never know what others are going through’.

Dianne took to Instagram to share a make-up free snap of herself back home after leaving the competition.

She had to separate from her boyfriend Joe Sugg during her stint on the show due to strict coronavirus safety restrictions.

But one troll DM’d her: ‘And by the way I’m sure he can find someone much better and with normal knees and feet not some alien s**t.

‘And makeup does a good job because your skin is disgusting, seen in some blogs how anyone stays with you when they wake up deserves a trophy.

‘And you family all have the same rat features in the face’.

Taking to her stories, she wrote alongside the cruel message: ‘It’s Anti-Bullying Week! Think before you speak or type you never know what others are going through.

‘I receive loads of msgs like this one daily. Lucky I can just brush it off but for some people that’s not the case. Stop cyber bullying.’ (sic)
