The Masked Singer: Lonzo Ball and Dr. Elvis Francois remove masks as Ken Jeong wipes away tears

Lonzo Ball and singing surgeon Dr. Elvis Francois were unmasked on The Masked Singer on Wednesday in a double-elimination that left panelist Ken Jeong in tears.

The season four episode of the Group B Finals pitted Whatchamacallit, Serpent, Seahorse and Crocodile against each other.

Ken correctly guessed that Whatchamacallit was pro basketball player Lonzo, 23, whose performance of Lean Back by Terror Squad had host Nick Cannon, 40, dancing along with panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and guest panelist Cheryl Hines.

‘I love music, I love performing, so this kind of brought it all together,’ Lonzo said after removing his blue hairy mask.

‘And I knew my mom watches this so it’s going to definitely put a smile on her face when she sees me,’ he added.

Nick asked the former UCLA Bruins star what he enjoyed most about performing as Watchamacallit.

‘The best part is just coming out here and doing what I love to do without anybody judging me, not knowing who I am. I had a lot of fun performing for y’all,’ Lonzo said.

Francois, 35, who gained fame with a viral video amid the COVID-19 pandemic, performed as Serpent and was unmasked after Lonzo.

The panelists had wide-ranging guesses that ranged from Daveed Diggs to Taye Diggs to Donald Faison, but Nicole picked up on the medical clues and guessed the singing surgeon who went viral with his cover of Imagine earlier this year.

‘This is unbelievable. It’s a once in a lifetime kind of situation. Very different from what I do on a day-to-day basis, but something I’ll never forget the rest of my life,’ Francois said after his unmasking.
