Kyle’s day comes after he posed a wild question about drugs to media doyenne Kerri-Anne Kennerley earlier this week.

On Wednesday morning, he asked the TV veteran, 67, if anyone had ever snorted lines of cocaine off her backside.

‘Back in the good old days when you were on the coke and everything, the best days of your life – it’s a quote from yourself – did anyone ever snort any lines off your butt?’ he asked.

The former Studio 10 host replied: ‘I can absolutely say no, and that was so last century. That was New York in the ’70s, that was Studio 54.’

Kyle went on to say that his straight-laced co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson had never experienced ‘any of these good old days’.

Kerri-Anne was quick to put him in his place, saying: ‘Are you kidding me, Kyle? You weren’t around in the ’70s in New York City, you missed it.’
