She ended her relationship with boyfriend Austin Butler, 29, in January, after nearly nine-years together.

And Vanessa Hudgens recently touted her single status and admitted that she is ‘not picky’ when it comes to dating during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight.

‘I feel like at the end of the day, it’s just about having similar fundamentals and wanting the same things. Like, I am not picky, really…’ explained the High School Musical alum, 31.

Although she did not list any specific attributes, Vanessa insisted that, at this point in her life, she knows what she wants in a partner.

She even noted that she is unopposed to dating outside of the Hollywood social sphere and even ‘prefers it.’

‘I know what I want and I’m like, if someone comes into the picture and can give me all those things, then great, it doesn’t matter if they’re in the public eye or not — if anything I prefer them not to be but we’ll see, we’ll see.’

The outlet also asked Hudgens to explain how dating has changed for her amid COVID-19, especially being a working actress.

And Vanessa, who recently wrapped production on her upcoming Netflix film adaptation of the Broadway musical Tick, Tick…Boom!, said that she has had to put dating on the back burner in order to work.

‘I just finished another movie yesterday and, you know, it’s taken very seriously and to keep everyone safe there are precautions,’ said the Princess Switch star.

‘And at times it feels extravagant, but it’s what you have to do to keep everyone on the production safe, so yeah, definitely no dating for me.’

Vanessa first began dating Austin in September of 2011, after the pair were spotted exiting Vanessa’s Studio City abode.

The pair, who reportedly first met on the set of High School Musical in 2005, took their relationship with slowly, but Vanessa cemented their status as a couple in 2014 via social media.

Though things between them appeared to be going smoothly, Hudgens and Butler shocked fans when a source revealed to US Weekly in January of this year that they had called it quits.

‘Vanessa and Austin are officially broken up, and Vanessa has been telling those close to her about their breakup,’ stated the outlet’s insider at the time.

Despite the news catching many fans by surprise, the former couple did appear to spend December of 2019 apart, which caused some speculative chatter on social media.
