Wealthy parents offer £70,000 salary to full-time nanny

London couple seek nanny to work ’24/7, seven days a week’ to look after their children aged three and nine months and cook healthy meals – but you DO get paid £70,000 a year and get every second week off

  • Multilingual family who live in Knightsbridge, are hiring a full-time nanny
  • Employee must ‘solely focus’ on son, aged three and nine-month-old daughter
  • Duties include helping with bath time, weaning, potty training and cooking
  • Nanny receives a £70,000 salary and opportunities to travel the world

An ultra-rich Russian-American family are looking for an ‘experienced nanny’ to live in their eight-bedroom Knightsbridge home and travel the world with them.

High-end recruitment company Polo & Tweed advertised the job on Facebook, saying the nanny will be required to look after a three-year-old boy and his nine-month-old sister for a busy multilingual family at their fully-staffed home.

The advert explains the full-time nanny will be expected to work 24/7 seven days a week long-term according to a rota, in exchange for perks including opportunities to travel the world and a £70,000 salary.

While shifts require intensive focus of the children, the rota allows for the nanny to then have seven days off – the downside being that acommodation is only provided for their working week.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to travel the globe and receive a £70,000 salary

The listing reveals the successful candidate will be working alternate shifts to their other full-time rota nanny.

Applicants must be willing to work 24 hours for seven days, while be willing to be on call at night should the children need assistance.

The busy household who are Russian and American, are beginning their search for a nanny because the maternity nurse who was caring for the baby is due to finish her contract.

Evidently wealthy, as the staff includes a housekeeper and chef, the family are hoping to find ‘someone who is committed, down to earth and flexible’.

The successful nanny is expected to be a team player who is confident with both the baby and their toddler.

They also want the candidate to be pet friendly because they’re considering getting a small dog in the future.

Despite being a multilingual household, the family are willing to possibly hire a nanny who only speaks English but say additional languages are a bonus.

Searching for someone to start as soon as possible, the advert reads: ‘Your duties will be fully focused on the two children.

‘You should be confident with babies, able to help them grow and develop and be confident with the different stages including weaning, potty training etc.
