The Block’s Mark McKie and Mitch Edwards have sold their idyllic North Bondi apartment for a cool $900,000.

After purchasing the property in 2018 for $855,000, the glamorous granddads have made a small profit after offloading the abode to first-time buyers.

In the two years that they owned the apartment, property flippers Mark, 58, and Mitch, 57, renovated the two-bedroom oasis to give it a more beachy feel.

Going, going, gone! The Block’s Mark McKie and Mitch Edwards have sold their idyllic North Bondi apartment for a cool $900,000

The pair’s next project is their $1.7 million four-bedroom coastal home in Newport.

Mark and Mitch certainly have renovating experience, aside from The Block, having reworked 15 homes in their 14 years together.

A controversial pair on the show last year, known for stirring some drama, Mark and Mitch were the favourites to win The Block, but they ultimately finished last.

While they would never have considered appearing on the show again on the back of their season, both Mitch and Mark said their opinions have changed.

After their brief stint on this year’s series, they said they’d happily sign up again if the opportunity were to present itself.

‘If you asked us this right at the end of the Oslo, our answer would have been NO…but now a big YES,’ they told Daily Mail Australia.

They added: ‘If we were asked, we’d do it again in a heartbeat. It’s full-on, but such a unique experience.’

Mitch and Mark briefly returned to this year’s season of The Block, helping Harry and Tash with the renovations on their Brighton house.

They admitted they were ‘a bit nervous’ going into the series, and were worried they may have ‘lost our Block-fitness’.

But both Mitch and Mark said Harry and Tash were extremely welcoming and open to their suggestions, and they easily fit back in.
