Georgie Parker and James Stewart deliver tributes to Cameron Daddo as he leaves Home and Away 

He first appeared on Home and Away as Evan Slater before being killed off and returning as his character’s long-lost twin, Owen Davidson.

But three months on from making a shock return to the long-running drama, actor Cameron Daddo is once again leaving Summer Bay. 

On Friday, co-stars Georgie Parker and James Stewart both bid him farewell in gushing tributes. 

‘How do I count the ways,’ Georgie, who plays Roo Stewart on the show, began her post. 

‘Cam, you are such a beautiful man inside and out. We were all so lucky you were free to play with us in the Stewart household. 

‘You’re family now, can’t wait to work with you again and I’ll see you and the fam soon for some early Christmas love.’ 

James, who plays Justin Morgan, added: ‘Gunna miss this guy!! So easy to watch… so good at what he does. Later bro.’ 

Cameron’s exit follows the star revealing how the long-running drama safely filmed kissing scenes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking on his podcast Separate Bathrooms and Other Handy Marriage Tips in October, the actor explained at one point production considered putting Glad Wrap on their lips.

‘Just recently on Home and Away we were supposed to do kisses with Covid, you know, and in the end there was talk at the time of putting Glad Wrap over our lips just to do the kiss,’ he said. 

‘But in the end it was all camera angles, there was a sort of leaning in, but no touch. So sexy.’

Cameron is married to Alison Brahe. The couple share three children together, daughters Lotus, 24, and Bodhi, 14, and a son, River, 20.
