David Beckham dotes on daughter Harper as he helps her bake Christmas cookies while they spend some quality family time together

The Beckham family have been spending time together in lockdown at their home in the Costwolds.

And David Beckham made sure to enjoy some fun activities with his daughter Harper as they set out to bake Christmas cookies together on Saturday.

The former professional footballer, 45, doted on his youngest child, nine, as they iced the sweet treats in various designs.

In a sweet video taken by fashion mogul Victoria, David showed Harper how to ice a cookie before he suggested she try her hand at it.

Adopting a sing-song voice, he asked Harper: ‘You do the first one or Daddy do the first one? You do the first one, okay. Make it a good one.’

Harper tried to pipe the icing onto the cookie but was having some difficulty so David stepped in to help with the piping bag.

Victoria walked forward to get a closer look of the pair’s activities, and asked: ‘What’re you doing?’

As Harper began to explain the design she wanted to do David accidentally broke the cookie they were piping icing onto in half.

Staying positive, Harper suggested they try and pipe icing onto a different cookie and she told her mum she was going to design Christmas bells on that one.  

David shared the video that Victoria took of the pair, and asked pal Gordon Ramsay for tips as he wrote: ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas CHEF.’

Victoria also shared a picture of the pair hard at work as she joked ‘the concentration is intense’ in the kitchen.

David and Victoria have been spending the coronavirus crisis at their second Cotswold home with their three children – Harper, Romeo, 18, and Cruz, 15. 

Eldest son Brooklyn, 21, has been living in America with fiancée Nicola Peltz.
