Sophie Monk responds to rumours she is pregnant with her boyfriend Joshua Gross

Sophie Monk has been blissfully dating her handsome boyfriend Joshua Gross for just over two years. 

And, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive that the 40-year-old is planning on having a baby with the hunky 41-year-old. 

But on Friday, the singer shot down the rumours on The Morning Show, revealing that she is not currently ‘trying to have a baby’. 

‘I think I started the rumour myself ’cause I froze my eggs and those sort of things, but I’m not trying to have a baby right this second,’ she said. 

However, she did say that a baby wasn’t completely off the cards adding: ‘One day I’m sure I’ll get around to it.’ 

It comes after the blonde bombshell revealed last month, that she and Joshua both want to ‘start a family’. 

‘We both want a family so he’s all for it,’ Sophie, 40, said during a webinar with Monash IVF.

Sophie explained while she always dreamed of becoming a mother, her busy lifestyle has not made it possible yet which led her to freeze her eggs.

‘You always think ”oh it’ll happen” and you’ll meet the right person,’ she continued.

‘So I never really worried about it and I kind of hit 30 and I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m still cool’ and then I blinked and I was nearly 40 and I was like, ”Oh, God” before you know it time’s gone.’

The blonde bombshell went on to reveal that she had her eggs frozen two years ago.

‘It’s just peace of mind me knowing it’s there, it’s taken enormous pressure off me. You’ve got to have the right partner. In the future I’d like to do [embryo freezing].’

While kids might not be on the cards right now, it appears that Sophie could be planning a return to the stage, with some new music. 

‘I always miss singing, I would love to get back to music, but its whether the audience want to hear it,’ she said on the breakfast program.  

‘But I would love to, and we’re doing meetings about music at the moment.’
