‘I need to say thank you for supporting me BBC Radio 2 these 24 hours, we’ve made an amazing amount of money… thank you to everyone who’s sponsored and donated… who knows I may even be back next year!’

When host Zoe asked what’s the first thing he’s going to do after finishing, cheeky Joe said: ‘Bounce all over the room and then get to my hotel bedroom and sleep as much as I can.’

When Zoe then revealed to him that the total amount raised so far is £1,520,020 – Joe did a cartwheel, before his wife Rosie joined him to give him a huge hug.
