Malin Akerman oozes casual-cool in ripped jeans and black leather jacket during shopping run… ahead of premiere for new comedy film Chick Fight
Malin Akerman is back in promo mode for the second time in less than three weeks, with the release of her new action comedy film Chick Fight on Friday, November 13.
And just hours ahead of the debut, the Swedish-born actress decided to head out on a grocery run in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.
She was spotted coming out of the Gelson’s Market pushing a cart full of bags of food and paper towels, on her way back to her parked car.

Akerman opted for a casual-cool look in faded black jeans that had rips along both knees and her left thigh.
She matched it with black leather jacket over a black t-shirt, black slip-on sneakers and her blonde tresses styled long and with a part in the middle.
With the COVID-19 pandemic on a dangerous rise in cases in recent days, the Billions star made sure to wear a protective mask over her mouth and nose the entire time.

By the early afternoon, Akerman took to her Instagram Story to remind her 490,000 fans and followers about the premiere of her newest film.
‘Hey everyone, I am super excited because tomorrow Chick Fight comes out,’ she began in a selfie video.
‘I hope you’ll all be watching. It’s out on Video On Demand and it’s a kick a** film; I’m so proud of this one. It will give you a little entertainment for your weekend.’

Akerman plays Anna Wyncomb, a woman who’s introduced to an underground, all-female fight club in order to turn the mess of her life around, according to IMDb.
Her character eventually discovers she’s much more personally connected to the history of the club than she could ever imagine.
It also stars Bella Thorne, Alec Baldwin, Dulcé Sloan, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Nash, Alec Mapa, Dominique Jackson, and Fortune Feimster.

Just late last month, Akerman made the rounds promoting the comedy film Friendsgiving, which also features Aisha Tyler, Jane Seymour, Kat Dennings and Chelsea Peretti.
She also starred in action comedy film The Sleepover that dropped on August 21.
Her Showtime drama series Billions was renewed for a sixth season several weeks ago.
