She’s one of Australia’s hottest modelling exports, having landed numerous endorsement deals.

And Shanina Shaik looked every inch the off-duty model while out walking her French Bulldog Choppa in London on Friday.

The 29-year-old dressed for the chilly weather in multiple layers, and drew attention to a radiant and blemish-free visage.

Shanina covered her enviable figure in a grey hooded jumper and sweatpants, which she teamed with a black patent puffer jacket and combat-style boots.

The cover girl swept her brunette locks into an effortless topknot, drawing attention to her striking facial features.

Shanina took a call on her iPhone as she strolled the inner-city streets with her adorable dog Choppa, who she often posts about on Instagram.

The sighting comes shortly after Shanina revealed to Roxie Nafousi on The Moments That Made Me podcast that she’s been able to ‘finally embrace’ her curves.

Reflecting on when she first started out in the industry, she said: ‘It was really hard for me to book bigger jobs in Australia because I don’t look like the typical… the idea of what everyone thinks the stereotype of what Australians look like. 

‘So I got into a modelling show. And I did this show because the prize was to get a contract with a New York modelling agency… I came runner-up but luckily I got a contract straight after the show.

‘The agent saw a picture of me and gave me a contract, and I flew over when I was 17. From the day I stepped foot in New York, I was very lucky, jobs were just flooding in for me and I just knew I was in the right place.’

Shanina described getting booked by the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2011 as career-defining, but added that she’s struggled with the pressures of the industry. 

‘Now is a time where I can finally embrace my curves, because it wasn’t celebrated or accepted maybe eight or nine years ago,’ she said.
