Jodie Foster keeps vouching for democracy as she wears a VOTE face mask while taking out the trash

She’s a two-time Academy-Award winning actress with an illustrious Hollywood career spanning over 50 years.

But Jodie Foster wasn’t above the mundane task of taking out the recycling to some blue bins in West Hollywood, California on Wednesday.

The Elysium star, 57, was dressed casually in a black and white striped shirt and jeans when she was spotted. 

She also wore a blue hoodie with a rainbow motif at the cuff.

Jodie had on a light blue facemask that had the word vote written upon it in white, in all caps. 

The Panic Room star shielded her eyes with small sunshades, and wore her hair in a simple bob that hung to her neck.

Jodie donned silver Birkenstock sandals on her feet. 

Foster was with a companion, who from the back looked to be her wife Alexandra Hedison.

Jodie and Alexandra, a photographer, have been married since 2014.

The actress and director has two sons, Charles, 22, and Kit, 19, whom she shares with her ex, producer Cydney Bernard.

Foster is known for being one of the youngest-ever Oscar nominees for one of her first major roles, as a teen prostitute in Martin Scorsese‘s 1976 crime drama Taxi Driver. 

She went on to clinch the Best Lead Actress statuette for the searing rape drama The Accused in 1988.

Soon after, Jodie was again awarded the Best Actress Oscar trophy for her iconic role of Clarice Starling in 1991’s serial killer film The Silence Of The Lambs, opposite fellow Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins.
