Due to England’s second lockdown, restaurants are only allowed to be open for takeaway and visitors should not be allowed to dine in, and Boris was also seen entering the restaurant without a mask on.

Anti-pandemic rules mean he should have gone into quarantine for two weeks after returning from Dubai.

The three-time Wimbledon champion met his artist friend Neel Shukla during the trip.

A video posted on Shukla’s Instagram account on November 4 showed him with Becker inside the Etihad Museum, which explains the United Arab Emirates’ heritage.

Shukla said in the film: ‘I have brought such a special guest today to the Etihad Museum. Boris…I’m so honoured and proud to have you at the museum.’

In reply, Becker said the displays are ‘unbelievable’.

A few days later, the artist shared a photo of a dinner with Becker in Dubai.

Twice-wed father-of-four Becker, who has a home in Wimbledon, is due to stand trial next year after being accused of concealing funds during a bankruptcy hearing.

He has sold his Spanish villa for around £4million to pay debts.
