Grieving Lisa Curry reveals the sweet handmade gifts she’s created for her children Jett, Morgan and her late daughter Jaimi Kenny

Lisa Curry has revealed the sweet gifts she made for her children, Jett, Morgan and her late daughter Jaimi Kenny.

On Friday, the Olympian, 58, revealed on Instagram, she created crochet blankets for her three children and finished her daughter Morgan’s gift last week.

‘Finally …! My last crochet blanket was finished last week. Jaimi has a beautiful cream and pink mumma blanket which I made for her 25th birthday,’ she wrote.

She continued: ‘Jett has a charcoal Queen size blanket for his bed which he got for his 21st birthday, and after 2 years I finally finished Morgan’s King size navy blanket for her 30th birthday last week.’

‘I’m not fast at crocheting so it takes me forever! I’ll give my fingers a rest then I guess I’ll start one for Flynn and Taj!! Winter projects,’ she said.

Lisa’s post comes after she shared a glimpse at the heart-melting moment she met her daughter Morgan Gruell’s newborn baby Taj for the first time, following his birth last week.

On Monday, the Olympian, 58, shared several Instagram photos of herself beaming while holding the tiny newborn in her arms, and congratulating her daughter and son-in-law Ryan on the birth of their second son.

It was a bittersweet moment for Lisa, who only days earlier had paid tribute to her ‘beautiful’ daughter Jaimi following her tragic death aged 33 in September.

Jaimi died on September 14 at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, after a long battle with alcoholism and an eating disorder.

Earlier this month, Lisa revealed some of the warning signs she had noticed in her daughter’s behaviour prior to her death.

In posts shared to the ‘Happy Hormones’ Facebook group, Lisa explained Jaimi had struggled with her health for years after being diagnosed with a ‘chemical imbalance’ aged 15.

‘Sometimes, an individual, even adults like us, can disregard little red flags, thinking it doesn’t matter or won’t matter,’ the grieving mother wrote.

‘I know people want to know why and how [Jaimi died], but it’s not important at this time, or maybe ever, I don’t know.’

‘What I will say though is that Jeff diagnosed her with a chemical imbalance 18 years ago when we started to see some tiny red flags,’ she added, referring to Jeff Butterworth, a naturopath who specialises in hormonal disorders.
