Ben Fordham shares the adorable moment his one-year-old daughter Marigold takes her first steps

Ben Fordham and wife Jodi Speers welcomed their third child, a daughter Marigold, in September last year. 

And on Thursday, the radio broadcaster revealed that the one-year-old tot had reached a massive milestone – her first steps.  

Posting to Instagram, the 43-year-old shared an adorable video of the child walking into his arms. 

‘First steps for our Golden Girl,’ he captioned the clip. 

In the clip, Ben was encouraging as his daughter left wife Jodi’s arms and teetered over to him. 

‘Yes you’re walking, first steps, you did it,’ he cheered before picking up Marigold and bouncing her up and down in the air. 

The tot looked adorable in pink leggings and a floral T-shirt, while Ben opted for black jeans and a denim shirt. 

Meanwhile, Jodi cut a casual figure in a white shirt which she paired with floral leggings and sneakers.  

Ben and Jodi, 38, are also proud parents to son Freddy, five, and Pearl, three. 

The post comes after Ben revealed that the couple are already thinking about expanding their family with another baby within the next year. 

‘I warned Jodie that if you open up the door to the third, you are opening the door to a fourth,’ he told Stellar magazine earlier this year.

‘So let’s see what happens in the next 12 months…’ he added.
