Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey unfollows disgraced former Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz

Just days after it was revealed former Hillsong Church pastor Carl Lentz was fired from the church for cheating on his wife, he’s also lost an Instagram follower: Hailey Bieber.

Lentz, 42, who had previously baptized Justin Bieber and officiated his September 2019 wedding, was unfollowed by the singer’s wife, seemingly after the scandal broke.

While Hailey hasn’t spoken publicly about the scandal, her husband still follows the pastor, and has reportedly been giving him a place to stay.

The preacher was cheating on Laura with a New York City designer named Ranin, 34, with the affair spanning five months.

Ranin opened up about the affair to the New York Post, revealing they met back in May at Domino Park in Williamsburg.

‘I was telling him everything. I thought he’s single, he’s a good looking man, why not?’ she said, though she added there was a ‘red flag’ when he saved her phone number in the Notes application on his iPhone, not in his Contacts.

While they called off the affair multiple times, they kept coming back to one another, with Ranin saying they were like ‘a drug’ to each other.

The affair ended when, in the course of one weekend, both his wife and people at his job saw all of their texts.

‘All his messages are linked from the iCloud. He’s not really a good cheater,’ Ranin said.

Lentz announced his time at Hillsong had come to a close in a lengthy Instagram statement, where he apologized to his wife, his family and his followers.

‘I was unfaithful in my marriage, the most important relationship in my life and held accountable for that. This failure is on me, and me alone and I take full responsibility for my actions,’ he said.

‘I now begin a journey of rebuilding trust with my wife, Laura and my children and taking real time to work on and heal my own life and seek out the help that I need,’ he added.
