I’m A Celebrity: Fiona O’Loughlin looks UNRECOGNSABLE on The Morning Show

Can you guess who this I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant is? Popular comedian looks unrecognisable on The Morning Show as she discusses her tell-all book

She was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2018.

But comedian Fiona O’Loughlin, 57, looked completely unrecognisable as she appeared on The Morning Show on Wednesday, where she discussed her new tell-all book, Truths from an Unreliable Witness.

Fiona, who is one of the most well-known faces in Australian comedy, has ditched her long brunette locks in favour of a natural grey, choppy pixie cut.

The mother-of-five also wore a pair of thick rimmed black glasses, looking worlds away from what she did even just a few months ago.

Fiona oozed confidence as she flaunted her dramatic transformation, sporting a lavender blazer which she teamed with a white shirt.

She added a hint of sass to her look with a bright red lipstick.

While on the show, recovering alcoholic Fiona discussed some of the darkest times she went through during her battle with booze.

She recalled the now infamous moment she relapsed while in the jungle – drinking hand sanitiser to halt her cravings for alcohol.

While her relapse wasn’t caught on camera, producers realised what was going on when they noticed her slurred speech just a few days before she was crowned the winner of the series.

Confirming that she discusses the dark moment in her book, Fiona said: ‘I knew I couldn’t not write about it. It was such a crazy thing to do, I can’t even tell you. I can’t even tell you what it tastes like.

‘How did I know about hand sanitiser? Because I had seen people do it in rehab. None of it is pretty, and that is the sadness of alcoholism.’

Fiona’s addiction is discussed further in her upcoming autobiography, Truths from an Unreliable Witness: Finding Laughter in the Darkest of Places, which was released on October 27.

Throughout her battle with alcoholism, Fiona has attempted suicide three times and was once left homeless.

However, Fiona says she’s finally in a wonderful place in her life – and says she hasn’t touched alcohol since December 17 2019.
