The Bachelorette’s Elly Miles SLAMS Becky’s ex Pete Mann after he dumped her

The Bachelorette star Elly Miles has slammed her sister’s ex-boyfriend, Pete Mann. 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph this week, Elly came out swinging in defense of her sister, Becky. 

Elly admitted that she’s ‘devastated’ that her sister had her heartbroken when Pete dumped her just three days after the finale, but insisted that her sibling is doing well.

But Elly said that Pete should have been upfront about his feelings with Becky while on the show, as she could have chosen Adrian Baena as her winner instead.  

‘She is doing okay, she has been through worst heartbreak than what she went through with Pete,’ Elly said. 

She added: ‘I think she just feels disappointed and I guess a little bit cheated because he wasn’t as transparent as he should have been and she could have picked the other guy and actually made a real shot at it because he was 100 per cent in.’ 

She finished: ‘I don’t think he was really in touch with himself.’

Last Friday, just hours after The Bachelorette finale, Becky confirmed her split with Pete, after she chose him as her winner on the show.  

The 30-year-old shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post on Friday, admitting that while her sister, Elly, had found love with Frazer Neate, things ‘didn’t work out’ for her and café owner Pete.

Becky then bravely fronted the media, breaking down in tears during back-to-back radio interviews as she revealed she was ‘angry’ that Pete, 35, had dumped her via FaceTime after just three days.

‘We came into this experience wanting a fairytale ending for the two of us, and while I am thrilled Elly found her person in Frazer, unfortunately things didn’t work out with Pete and I,’ Becky wrote. 

Reassuring fans she had ‘fond memories and no regrets’, she added: ‘Although I wasn’t lucky enough to find my person this time around, I am grateful for this opportunity.’

‘I wish Pete happiness and all the best in his search for love,’ she concluded.

Pete also confirmed their split on Instagram, writing: ‘The Bachelorette was such an amazing experience and one I’ll always remember.’ 

‘I came on this show to follow my heart and find love but unfortunately in the end, true love was not meant to be,’ he added.

He then praised Becky as a ‘wonderful woman’ who ‘deserves’ to find love and happiness.

He finished: ‘I also want to take this opportunity to wish Elly and Frazer all the best with their romance. Two great humans who are perfect for one another.’
