End of the day: Strictly’s Ranvir Singh headed home after joining Giovanni Pernice and her co-stars on It Takes Two in London on Monday

Detailing the arduous rehearsals she goes through with the Italian dancer, 30, she told the publication: ‘Your whole body feels it and you wake up with throbbing feet in the night and then you know you’ve really worked hard.

‘As Giovanni keeps saying, “If it’s not uncomfortable, it’s not right.” I’m literally moving in my sleep.

‘My legs are moving in my sleep, re-enacting the whole thing over and over again. It’s muscle memory and it’s repetition. You have to keep repeating it.’

She added that her dance partner recommended she practice so much because it meant on the night she could enjoy the steps rather than worry about them.

Ranvir looked stylish as she wrapped up in a light pink coat against the winter chill while heading home, as she offset the outwear with a pair of snakeskin-print trousers that appeared to match her animal-print handbag.

She kept safe amid the coronavirus crisis by wearing a dark red face mask, while she brushed her raven tresses into a sleek, straight style.

Giovanni kept his look simple for the evening as he dressed in all-black, wearing a hoodie underneath a matching coat.

Clearly in good spirits after the event, the professional dancer gave a thumbs up to fans as he headed back after the appearance.

Dianne looked effortlessly chic in a red plaid shirt that she paired with black gym leggings and trainers for a relaxed look after their more glamorous outfits for their appearance on the show.

Jason, meanwhile, looked sharp in a dark navy suit that he offset with a camel coat and a white shirt to put on a dapper display.

During Saturday’s show, Ranvir and Giovanni topped the leaderboard after earning them the highest score of the series so far.

Shirley Ballas said of their dance: ‘It’s our movie star looking couple for sure, beautiful frame, you just displayed this, so simple but so beautiful. I just love quality. When I see quality I get so excited and that’s exactly what I saw with you.’

Motsi Mabuse added: ‘Can we just declare this National foxtrot day! From one to the next and beautiful and you two compliment each other so well.

‘I see a lady, I see a man, it takes time to show that quality. I just forget the technique because you are the dance.’
