Pregnant Emma Roberts cuts a chic figure figure in a plaid wool coat while grabbing a smoothie

She is joyously awaiting the arrival of her first child, a son, with boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, 36.

And Emma Roberts showcased her burgeoning baby bump as she stopped by a smoothie joint in her trendy Los Feliz neighborhood on Monday morning.

The 29-year-old actress braved the unusually chilly temperatures by bundling up with a plaid wool coat.

Emma layered her chic outerwear over a brown mock neck dress that stopped mid-calf and featured a dramatic slit down one leg.

In order to breakup the deep tones dominating her look, Roberts decided to slip on her favorite pair of white leather loafers.

Her famously bleach blonde hair was styled into a voluminous low ponytail and she donned a pair of gold framed sunglasses over her eyes.

Emma carried all over essential belongings in a striking beige designer bag with gold hardware. 

In order to deter the spread of COVID-19, the American Horror Story star kept her mouth and nose concealed behind a maroon-toned cloth mask.

Once she arrived to the smoothie shop, Emma exited her vehicle and made her way towards the ordering window.

Once her order was placed, she stepped aside and waited patiently for her smoothie to be whipped up.

While standing idly, Emma buttoned her coat closed and stood with her arms folded on top of her bump. 

With her delicious looking green smoothie in hand, she eagerly made her way back to her parked vehicle.

Emma and Garrett, who confirmed their pregnancy news via Emma’s Instagram page in August, are reportedly getting ‘more and more excited’ about becoming parents as the baby’s due date approaches.

A source recently told Us Weekly that ‘Garrett is really looking forward to becoming a dad and feels as though this is something he needed.’

They added: ‘He is ready to take on all the daddy duties, and Emma getting pregnant has forced him to become more responsible. He thinks that’s a blessing.’ 

Hedlund was arrested on two DUI offenses in February is now in the middle of serving 36-months of probation, as per documents obtained by Page Six this month.

Reps for the actor told Page Six that ‘when the incident occurred, Garrett immediately sought treatment which was successful. Today, he is in a solid and great place.’

He will be back in court on November 25 for a restitution hearing. 

With the entire duration of Emma’s pregnancy occurring during COVID-19 quarantine, Garrett and Emma have also been ‘bonding a ton before the arrival of their baby.’

Emma said in a recent interview that she feels ‘grateful’ that the coronavirus pandemic has allowed her to stay at home and not work during her pregnancy, because she has been able to ‘be present’ with herself. 

‘It’s been really an interesting time in the world to be pregnant right now. It’s definitely caused a lot of introspection, but I think it’s been amazing to really sit with myself and really turn inward in a way I never have before and be still. That’s been really nice, and I feel really grateful to have gotten to do that.

‘To not just be running from one appointment to the next or one job to the next. I’ve really had to be present with myself, and that’s been – some days you wanna crawl out of your skin, but other days you feel really good and really grateful,’ she explained.

The former Nickelodeon star also opened up about preparing for her son’s imminent arrival, including purchasing clothes and preparing the home her and Garrett share together.

‘I’ve been trying to not buy a ton of stuff because I love shopping. All I can say is thank goodness I’m not having a girl because the clothing situation would just be insane,’ she admitted. 

Emma and Garrett first began dating in early 2019, following Emma’s split from former fiance Evan Peters, 33. Whereas Garrett formerly dated actress Kirsten Dunst, 38, from 2012 until their split in 2016.
