The Block’s Luke and Jasmin reveal they’re ready for a third child after years of financial hardship

They are doting parents to four-year-old daughter Lola and two-year-old son Sonny.

And The Block’s Luke and Jasmin have now revealed that they are keen on adding to their family after recovering from a few years of financial hardship.

Speaking to Woman’s Day, Jasmin, 36, gushed: ‘We’d love another little person in our home. It would bring us even more love and happiness.’

Jasmin added that Luke especially wanted more children as he was from a ‘large Italian family’ and had always wanted to move to the country with his large tribe of bambinos’.

Luke added: ‘It’s been something we couldn’t consider before The Block. We couldn’t afford it. The last few years of Jasmin taking maternity leave has left us financially stretched.

‘We know we’re thinking with our hearts and not our heads and either way we’re so blessed with our two beautiful children, but one more baby could be the missing piece of our family puzzle.’

Meanwhile, on Sunday’s episode of The Block emotions were at an all-time high as only two teams managed to produce a completed reveal for their studio and garage.

With only hours until judging and a tremendous amount of labour left to do, Luke was at his wits’ end upon learning his plasterer had taken on ‘three other houses’.

Asked by producers how he was feeling, a furious Luke said he was ‘ropeable’.

Tense scenes saw Luke and his partner Jasmin confronting their plasterer Sam.

‘When I signed up with you, I thought I was getting you boys, and I’ve been split between three different houses,’ Luke told Sam.

After Sam apologised, Jasmin vented about how Sam had ‘gotten a bit greedy taking on too much work’.

Meanwhile, Harry and Tash had their own dramas, in particular the shower screen for their study’s ensuite.

Foreman Dan called out Harry for providing incorrect measurements, and failing to take into consideration how much space the tiling on the slanted roof would take up.

Calling him out: 'It's Harry's fault for not allowing [extra space for] the tiles,' Dan said in a piece to camera. He went on to suggest that the father and daughter duo would get slammed by the judges for not presenting an adequate shower screen in time

When it came to judging, interior design experts Shaynna Blaze, Neale Whitaker and Darren Palmer were blown away by Sarah and George, and Jimmy and Tam’s reveal.

Sarah and George won the $10,000 cash prize from Ford on 29-and-a-half points, followed closely by Jimmy and Tam on 29 points.

The judges adored the storage options in Sarah and George’s garage, as well as their unique laundry area, with Neale remarking that the space is ‘real estate gold’.

Darren was also in awe of Jimmy and Tam’s gym set-up in the garage, and the ‘flexibility’ that the upstairs studio offered.

However, it was quite a different story for Harry and Tash, Daniel and Jade, and Luke and Jasmin, who all  presented unplastered stairways.

Daniel and Jade, and Luke and Jasmin, placed third on 25 points, while Harry and Tash finished last on 20 points.

The Block continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
