Ashley Darby shed tears after getting into a spat with her husband Michael Darby over their son Dean.
On the latest episode of the Bravo series The Real Housewives Of Potomac, Ashley, 32, went on a trip to Portugal with her costars when she decided to check in on her one-year-old son just before his bedtime.
However, drama ensued when Ashley learned her husband had not even returned home yet.

‘It is seven o’clock, my baby’s gonna be in bed,’ Ashley said as she grabbed her phone on the hotel nightstand.
Ashley began FaceTiming Michael just after seven PM, but was unable to connect.
‘FaceTime unavailable,’ her screen read.
‘He’s putting him to sleep, don’t put him to sleep before you talk to me!’ she said in frustration, thinking her child had already been put to bed.

Ashley made another attempt to contact him, but the phone call was never picked up.
Ashley then placed a call to her friend Eve, who was watching their son for her.
As it turns out, Michael had not even returned home.
‘Is Michael home yet?’ Ashley asked.

Uh-oh: The drama started after Darby confronted her husband over his whereabouts
‘No, not yet,’ Eve said. ‘And Dean, he’s really tired,’ she added.
Ashley rubbed her face in frustration.
‘I’m going to try to find out where Michael is,’ Ashley said.
Finally, Ashley was able to reach Michael.

‘I’ve been in a meeting,’ Michael told Ashley of his whereabouts. ‘I had to finish the meeting. I’m on my way home.’
‘But you know I’m away and I’m usually the caretaker for Dean,’ Ashley said.
‘Babe, babe, babe,’ Michael said. ‘Oh, Ash please.’
‘You also didn’t tell Eve that you were going to be a little late,’ Ashley said.

‘I said, seven o’clock baby!’ Michael replied.
‘It’s seven eleven! She said he’s very fussy and I’m worried about him,’ Ashley said.
However, Michael seemed to hit his limit.
‘Babe I can’t do this,’ Michael said. ‘I can’t do this.’
‘What can’t you do?’ Ashley demanded.

‘I can’t be molested like this,’ Michael replied. ‘This is crazy,’ he said, before hanging up.
Ashley began to cry. ‘I just want to go home,’ she said.
Fortuantely, the couple were able to make amends.
‘Last night Michael was supposed to be home, but he had to work, and it upset me because the baby has a routine,’ Ashley told Karen the next day. ‘So I lashed out at him and he called me back… now I see I overreacted,’ she said.

A clip showed Michael returning her call and apologizing to Ashley.
Karen seemed to have questions. ‘The last time you left Michael, he wasn’t where he was supposed to be. Was that a part of it?’
‘No, that actually wasn’t a factor this time,’ Ashley insisted. ‘It was a moment of growth, because I actually think he heard me and understood me and it made me realize, I’m really grateful for my husband.’
Karen raised concerns about Ashley in a confessional.
‘Michael being late shouldn’t send you into that tailspin. And she needs to deal with the level of pain Michael has caused her during this marriage.’
On top of worrying about her son Dean, Ashley also harbored concerns about Michael misbehaving during her absence.
The couple have been attempting to overcome Michael’s recent strip club scandal, which occured earlier this season.
