Katie Price has admitted she was ‘fixated’ with her ex-husband Peter Andre when they first got together on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.
The former glamour model, 42, discussed her relationship with Peter, 47, during a rare interview on I’m A Celebrity’s preview show A Jungle Story on Sunday.
Recalling their romance in the jungle, Katie said: ‘I was just fixated on Pete. People saw our relationship develop.

‘Having Pete there in the jungle did make it easier because you’d fall asleep thinking of him and wake up seeing him there.
‘If you haven’t clicked with someone in there I think it’s quite hard and lonely.’
‘It was a proper love story and I think me and Pete are the only ones who had kids come out of it.’
Katie, who was known as ‘Jordan’ at the time, added: ‘I was 23, I had no idea I’d go into the jungle and meet my husband.’

The reality star was then shown footage of herself on the show speaking about her growing feelings for the singer.
She said: ‘I get on really well with Pete, he’d be the type of guy I’d go for, but I have a boyfriend.’
Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly watched the same clip in a home cinema with Ant admitting: ‘She had a boyfriend – I’d forgotten that’.
Katie was dating Scott Sullivan at the time but said: ‘I know he’s not the one’, after hitting it off with Pete.

Reminiscing on the public interest in Katie and Peter’s romance, Ant said: ‘People love a romance, they love a love story and it just developed as the series went on.’
After falling in love on the show, Katie and Peter married in a lavish ceremony in Highclere Castle in September 2005.
The former couple, who are parents to Junior, 15, and Princess Tiaamii, 13, ended up going their separate ways and divorced in 2009.
Peter has since tied the knot again with his wife Emily and has two children with her, Amelia, six, and Theo, three.

Meanwhile, Katie is loved-up with former Love Island star Carl Woods who she recently returned from a luxurious holiday in the Maldives with.
Katie and Carl have been updating their fans on the details of their trip while away, with Carl insisting he paid for the holiday as he shunned claims he’s a freeloader who is just after fame.
They moved in with one another after three months and are already say they want to get married and have a baby together.
