Caroline Flack‘s manager and close friend shared a touching tribute to the presenter on what would have been her 41st birthday on Instagram on Monday. 

Nathan, who represented Caroline and developed a close bond with her, shared some beautiful images and videos of the star as he remembered her fondly. 

Caroline tragically took her own life on February 15 in the run up to her trial for the alleged assault of her boyfriend Lewis Burton.

She passed away a day after she had been told that the CPS was pursuing the court case against her following an arrest at her home over a row with Lewis in December.

Nathan posted a picture of Caroline cuddling her beloved dog Ruby and wrote: ‘Hiiiiiii Happy heavenly 41st birthday. Love and miss you.’  

He also shared a stunning video of Caroline putting on lipgoss behind the scenes as she flashed Nathan a big smile, with her favourite song, Rupert Holmes’s Escape (The Piña Colada Song).

Nathan also shared a backstage moment of Caroline taken an hour before she was due to perform her final Chicago show on the West End. 

Wearing an Adidas tracksuit and Ugg boots with her hair piled on top of her head, Caroline clutched some flowers as she savoured the moment. 

Performing a moment from the show, in which she played Roxie Hart, she said: ‘Your husband’s not at home, is he?’ as she walked down the stairs, she had a big smile on her face.

She said: ‘An hour to go until the last show, an empty auditorium, just me and my flowers, don’t know where anyone is, so we thought we would come for a bit of a wander.

Nathan also shared a video of Caroline performing on stage, in which she shows off her incredible vocal talents and dance moves. 

He is thought to have begun representing Caroline in 2017 and they developed a a close friendship during their professional and personal relationship.

Caroline had pleaded not guilty to assault by beating at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court in North London on December 23 and was due to go on trial at March 4.

Her management company criticised the CPS for pressing ahead with what it called her ‘show trial’ even after Lewis said he did not support it.

He shared a throwback video of himself and Caroline on the same day, writing: ‘Happy birthday up there. Miss you.’  

The ITV veteran fronted the much-loved show since its revival series in 2015, before handing over her role to pal Laura Whitmore in late 2019.
