She quietly welcomed her second child with her husband Jay Rutland in September. 

And Tamara Ecclestone posted an adorable snap on her Instagram Stories of her eldest child Sophia, six, teaching her newborn Serena about Remembrance Day.

The touching moment saw Sophia lying holding a plastic poppy while she chatted to her younger sister, who both donned matching pink star-patterned pyjamas.

The model, 36, sharing the picture of the siblings on her bed, penning: ‘Explaining to her baby about Remembrance Sunday.’

In a second post on her Instagram stories, Tamara shared an image of a field of poppies with the touching tribute ‘we remember’ in red lettering.

She was among a flood of celebrities taking to social media on Sunday to mark Remembrance Sunday.

Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones, Rebekah Vardy and Victoria and David Beckham were all among the famous faces to pay tribute to the occasion.

Fearne Cotton also shared a photo of herself in a red jumper as she proudly sported a matching poppy.

And TV presenter Nick Knowles and former glamour model Katie Price both marked Remembrance Sunday by sharing images of poppies to their timelines. 

Tamara first met her husband, 39, in in January 2013 when they attended a blind date arranged by a mutual friend, and they became engaged just a month later. 

The couple quietly welcomed their second daughter in a hospital near Bern, Switzerland, in September.

And earlier this week, the mother-of-two expressed expressed her love for her newborn, Serena, in a touching series of social media snaps on Saturday.

The heiress cosied up to her husband and daughters on a bed of autumnal leaves in a forest as she declared to her followers that their tiny tot has ‘completed’ them.

In a candid caption, she confessed that although she had been ‘worried’ about expanding her brood, she was delighted seeing her daughters interact. 

Tamara penned: ‘And just like that we became four. 

‘Serena you’re the best thing that happened to the three of us in one way you completed us and in another it’s like you have always been there.

‘Watching Fifi [Sophia] love you so much makes me so happy every day my heart is so full.

‘I can’t believe I was worried about this change but one thing is for sure what’s meant for you won’t pass you by.’

After Tamara privately welcomed the newborn, her father and Formula One boss Bernie confirmed the news from his home in Gstaad in the Swiss Alps.

He told MailOnline at the time: ‘I’m absolutely thrilled to be a grandfather again.

‘Tamara gave birth to a little girl seven days ago in the same hospital that my son Ace was born in. Mother and baby are doing brilliantly. She’s a beautiful little thing.’

Meanwhile, Bernie, 90, announced in July that he became a father for the fourth time to a boy named Ace with his wife Fabiana Flosi, 44.
