They have starred together on the Bravo reality series Southern Charm for the last four seasons.
And with Kathryn Dennis’ new relationship heating up with Chleb Ravenell, co-star Austen Kroll is sharing his measure of the man. It turns out the two men have been friends and recently worked together on a project.
‘He literally was just, like, a model for me in my beer shoot,’ Kroll, 33 revealed to Us Weekly while promoting the seventh season of Southern Charm that just premiered last last month.
‘I had a buddy come in town, like, to take pictures, you know, for Trop Hop and called him up. I was like, you know, come do this [with me].’

Kroll, who’s the founder of Kings Calling Brewing Co., called Ravenell ‘a great guy’, and added that he’s been associated with the show’s group of friends for a while now.
Ravenell, 32, and Dennis, 29, started sparking romance rumors in July, and eventually went Instagram official in October when Dennis posted a photo of herself snuggling up next to her new boyfriend with the simple caption: ‘You.’
The couple spent Halloween together, dressing up as a cowboy and Poison Ivy to go to a haunted house.
‘BOO’d up,’ Dennis wrote, in part, in the caption of the festive photo taken just over a week ago.

Undecided: ‘So we’ll see on — you know — the verdict is out on that one as well,’ Kroll said in reference to whether the relation between Dennis and Ravenell can go the distance
‘Does this come at like the perfect timing for Kathryn? You know? Yes, yes it does,’ the craft beer expert explained.
‘But you know, I haven’t really been around them much together. But we all know the same people and we all know his, like, close friends who are close friends with her and close friends with him and hear things.’
It’s at this point that Kroll offered a hint of apprehension about whether the relationship can go the distance.
‘So we’ll see on — you know — the verdict is out on that one as well,’ he concluded.

The new couple were actually friends before they started dating.
‘Then the pandemic, probably, pushed them together, because [Kathryn] was hanging out with a mutual friend of all of ours, Jackie [Stewart],’ Kroll explained before adding that Stewart has been dating Ravenell’s brother, Chelsie Ravenell.
Dennis had been in an on-again, off-again relationship with co-star Thomas Ravenel, 58, before finally calling it quits in 2016. They share two children together: daughter Kensie, six, and son Saint, four.
