Shannan Ponton says he warned Firass Dirani to ‘shut his mouth’ or look like an a**hole on TV

The feud rages on: SAS Australia star Shannan Ponton hits out at Firass Dirani AGAIN and reveals he told actor to ‘shut his mouth’ otherwise he would look like an a**hole on television

The feud between Firass Dirani and his fellow SAS Australia recruit Shannan Ponton doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon.

The Biggest Loser star has taken aim at the actor again in a magazine interview, saying he admitted to feeling frustrated by his co-star’s approach to the Channel Seven military-style series.

‘All he had to do was shut his mouth and do what he was told,’ the 46-year-old former Biggest Loser trainer told Woman’s Day this week.

SAS Australia recruit Shannan Ponton, 46, (pictured) has revealed that he warned co-star Firass Dirani to ‘shut his mouth’ otherwise he would look like an a**hole on television

‘It wasn’t rocket science, and it wasn’t something that was beyond him or anybody else in the cast,’ he continued.

‘I said, “Do you understand how this is going to be played out on TV? You’re making the same mistake every day. All of Australia is going to think you’re an a*hole.”‘

Shannon said despite offering the Australian star several warnings and advice he wasn’t interested in taking it.

The personal trainer also added that signing up to a military-based show all recruits need to keep their toe the line.

‘In a real-life situation if you don’t do as you’re told, people die,’ he warned.

It comes after Shannan raged to TV Week last month: ‘On multiple occasions I asked Firass to hand in his badge, as his presence and repetitive behaviour were ruining the entire experience for the rest of us.’

‘I struggled with Firass’ behaviour from day one,’ he added, noting that the Underbelly star’s back-chat to the DS was a ‘lame attempt at juvenile humour’.

‘The entire cast was filthy, but many wanted to avoid confrontation and failed to speak up directly,’ the fitness coach said.

After his comments, Firass unleashed a blistering response – telling Daily Mail Australia: ‘Who the f**k is he to tell me how to act?

‘I wasn’t there to be compliant or hide. Or be a sheep. I went there to be me, and I didn’t fit into the construct of who he thought I needed to be.
