Married At First Sight relationship expert Mel Schilling was left red-faced after awkwardly congratulating Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant on their baby joy.
On Saturday, proud mother Jules shared an adorable photo of her son Oliver to Instagram wearing a shirt that read ‘MAFS MADE’.
Mel jumped at the opportunity to congratulate the new parents on their newborn – but some fans weren’t impressed by her choice of words.

‘OMG you guys this is the cutest! Our first MAFS baby with his own little fashion statement,’ the psychologist wrote.
However, Oliver isn’t the first baby to come out of the experiment as former couple Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner have a baby together.
Mel got an online lashing from fans of the show who immediately reminded her of the reality show couple’s family.
‘The first season 2015. Alex and Zoe has a baby girl, Harper,’ one fan wrote.

To Mel’s credit, she opted to correct herself: ‘yes of course, my mistake.’
During the post for the adorable photo, Jules reflected on her time on MAFS.
The new mother captioned her Instagram post: ‘Never forget where you came from.’

‘To think a leap of faith equals you lil (sic) one, Oliver Chase,’ she added.
The ‘leap of faith’ Jules is referring to is signing up to Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight, where she first met her now-husband Cameron Merchant in 2018.
‘Thank you universe,’ she concluded.

Jules and Cameron met on season six of Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight, which was filmed in late 2018 to early 2019.
After falling madly in love, they became engaged at the end of the experiment.
The couple officially tied the knot in November 2019 in a lavish ceremony in Sydney, which was broadcast on a special TV episode of A Current Affair.
In April 2020, the pair announced they were expecting their first child in an interview with Stellar magazine.
