Strictly hopeful Max George insists he has no dance experience – but footage has emerged of him performing a routine on hit US musical show Glee.
The film comes from January 2015 when George, 32, was attempting to crack Hollywood.
Dressed in a black and white jacket, he lined up on the stage for a tricky dance routine with a co-star, twirling her around to B-52’s hit Rock Lobster.
George played talented schoolboy Clint in the sixth season of Glee. As well as dancing, he was a lead singer in some of the show’s performances. Despite being in boyband The Wanted between 2009 and 2014, George claims he has never danced.

He even discussed his lack of skills with host Claudia Winkleman last Sunday. George, who is dancing with Dianne Buswell, told her: ‘Every day feels like you’re learning something completely new. It’s really cool.’
A source close to George attempted to play down his Glee performance, saying: ‘They used a body double for the really difficult bits.’
