Chrishell Stause is denying that she and her DWTS partner Gleb Savchenko had an affair, after he announced the end of his 14-year marriage to Elena Samodanova.
In response to the ‘rumors’ that their friendship had blossomed into romance, the 39-year-old Selling Sunset star set the record straight with a statement on Friday.
‘I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life,’ she wrote on an Instagram Story.

She continued: ‘Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone. As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more.’
The All My Children alum’s ex-husband, Justin Hartley, filed for divorce in November 2019, shortly after their second wedding anniversary and six years of dating.
While her and Savchenko’s chemistry was palpable on ABC’s dance competition series, an E! News source revealed she ‘would never’ interfere with a marriage.
‘As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more,’ she revealed on her Instagram Story (seen on Monday)
‘Gleb and Chrishell aren’t dating and Chrishell wasn’t the cause of the split,’ an insider told the outlet. ‘Gleb and Elena were going to split before the season and haven’t been getting along.’
Last month, the dancing duo raised eyebrows after he sent her an extravagant bouquet of pink roses after their ‘first fight.’
At the time, Stause explained they argued because they ‘both care so much’ and he is ‘passionate’ about his work on the dance floor.

‘We are working on me picking up some of his strict Russian nature, and I am softening him up with a little southern charm,’ she captioned the snap of herself holding the floral arrangement.
The pair- who were eliminated from the competition this week – ‘were the talk of the set’ after the big fight, a source told Page Six, as their disagreement was apparently so upsetting Chrishell refused to do press after the show.
In a recent interview with People before his divorce announcement, the actress raved about Savchenko being the ‘absolute best.’

‘I absolutely love him. He is so patient and he’s just … he knows how to push me, but not in a way that’s intimidating, and I think that that is a little bit what I was scared of working with a pro. I just felt there’s a lot of intimidation there with feeling like they’re going to be disappointed when they find out they were paired with you, because there are some people that are already so talented,’ she told the publication.
On Saturday, Savchenko’s estranged wife accused the Dancing With The Stars pro of ‘ongoing infidelity’ and ‘irrevocably’ breaking her trust.
‘After 14 years of marriage, and multiple affairs, I’ve decided enough is enough,’ she tells People. ‘Gleb and I have created a family and multiple businesses together. But apparently, it just wasn’t enough to keep our marriage strong.’

She continued: ‘Gleb’s ongoing infidelity and a recent inappropriate relationship has created turmoil in our marriage and absolutely torn our family apart.’
‘No wife should ever stand by and watch while another woman gifts her husband expensive presents, lures him out to dinners and seduces him at every turn,’ the mother-of-two revealed.
Without getting into detail, she said she could ‘no longer turn’ her ‘head the other way’ and that her trust in Gleb is irrevocably broken.

With a ‘heavy heart’, Gleb broke news of the split to fans on social media on Friday, posting a statement and a photo of his family at the beach.
‘It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage,’ Gleb wrote in the caption.
