Chloe Sevigny was fashion forward while out with her baby son Vanja in New York City of an evening this week.

The 45-year-old slipped into a black and yellow tartan short front skirt and pulled a pair of black leather cowgirl boots over matching hose.

She could be spotted pushing her son around in his stroller before they settled down to an alfresco restaurant meal with a female pal.

Letting her blonde hair down, the Love And Friendship star clashed a white button-down blouse with the rest of her ensemble.

The indie darling shares her little pride and joy with her boyfriend Sinisa Mackovic, the longtime director of the Karma art gallery in the East Village.

Chloe, who gave birth to Vanja on May 2, revealed to The Cut: ‘When I found out I was having a boy, I had to wrap my head around that, as I am so girly.’

The Love And Friendship actress confided: ‘I don’t even have that many boy friends; all of my friends are girls.’

She explained with a laugh that ‘I just relate better to girls. I’m like, what the hell am I going to do with a boy?’

Chloe said: ‘My mom was like: “This is your comeuppance for not really liking men.” I was like, great. I like men when I’m sleeping with them! But of course, I am thrilled and so excited about the whole thing.’

More recently she told W that while filming her new mini-series We Are Who We Are in Italy she hid her pregnancy from the majority of her colleagues.

‘It was a little awkward. I love going out with the crew and the cast and having drinks, but I was very tired all the time,’ she confessed.

‘I wasn’t so sick, but I did have other, hormonal side effects. Navigating that was tricky,’ revealed the The Last Days Of Disco star.
